Money was scarce throughout her teenage years, so at thirteen, Belinda began her work career. As a teen she worked at a grocer’s, separating good onions from the bad ones (stinky job!); she sold cosmetics; sold books from door-to-door; modeled; packer of candy novelties; baby-sat; and tutored. After a semester in Form Six, she gave up and went to work as an accounts clerk and during the evenings, studied the LCCI (UK) diplomas in Financial Accounting; Cost Accounting and Commercial Law. She was the first student to pass all 6papers under a year, in one seating back in the ‘80s.
Then working in an international audit firm, Belinda Ong realized that to fast track to financial wealth, it had to be business. Now, she has a few businesses; which she operates with her life and business partner. She personally started and grew 2 businesses with zero capital!
A dynamic business-woman and a firm believer for life-long learning; Belinda takes time out from her busy schedule as wife, mum, entrepreneur, author to share her experiences and thoughts in the hope that she can help make a positive change in someone else’s life.
Being financially independent and free before 30, Belinda teaches and shares principles and techniques that work for her. She has the unique ability of taking the difficult and mundane and transforming them into easy-to-understand and practical approach.
Belinda is a firm believer that everyone is born rich and it is their duty to be able to enjoy a rich life; all that life has to offer and more. Rich in every sense of the word. With this in mind, her first book ‘Did We Sell Our Souls To The Devil? – volume 1’ was conceived.
‘To Be The Best Me’ is the motto she lives by. And to walk the talk and talk the walk; Belinda fits into her busy schedule, courses and workshops that she believes can help inspire people to be the best they can be and help them move closer to true freedom.
